Remote Sensing in Ecohydrology (Spring)
This course covers topics to understand and model the exchange of energy and water in terrestrial ecosystems based on physical and ecological principles. The course develops mathematical foundations for modeling the soil plant atmosphere continuum in the context of earth system models. Further the course covers high resolution remote sensing observations for characterizing the composition, structure and function of terrestrial ecosystems as well as complimenting ecohydrological modeling.
Fluid Mechanics (Fall)
This course is an introductory graduate level course in fluid mechanics. The course covers topics to provide an understanding into the use of fluid mechanics to solve problems of environmental significance.
