Helen is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Civil Engineering. She completed her M.Tech. in transportation engineering from IIT Madras where she studied platoon behavior of Indian traffic. Her current research work involves understanding driver behavior, route choices, and effects of congestion pricing using dynamic discrete choice and reinforcement learning methods.

Rito Brata Nath is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Civil Engineering. During his final year of undergraduate program, he got interested in the mathematical and statistical aspects of transportation engineering and decided to continue on to graduate studies. His master's thesis research was on demand prediction and dynamic repositioning in bicycle sharing systems. He is currently researching problems involving game theory and electric mobility.
