Subhrasita’s research focuses on understanding the interactions between carbon and water cycles in ecosystems through high-resolution remote sensing observations. Employing interdisciplinary approaches, Subhrasita combines remote sensing techniques, machine learning, and biophysical modeling to explore the complexities of carbon flux and its relationship with environmental factors. Her work also investigates the effectiveness of various vegetation stress indicators for early detection of crop stress and agricultural drought management. Subhrasita’s research aims to enhance our understanding of photosynthetic carbon and water flux dynamics, and how climate variables influence these processes, ultimately contributing to the development of sustainable solutions for ecosystem management in a changing climate.
