Research Interests
My research interests broadly encompass the areas of high-resolution remote sensing, eco-hydrology and coupled carbon and water cycles incorporating both data-driven and physically process based modeling approaches.
Specifically, my current research explores the potential of high spatial and spectral resolution remote sensing for better characterizing the composition and structure of terrestrial ecosystems. Present research efforts also involve assimilating high resolution remotely sensed observations in inversion frameworks with process based models for better understanding the dynamics of coupled water and carbon cycles in terrestrial ecosystems under various environmental stresses.
