Our article on Vegetation Functional Resilience is published in Geophysical Research Letters

Using solar-induced chlorophyll fluorescence (SIF) and critical slowing down indicators, our study quantifies global vegetation resilience (2000–2019), revealing strong latitudinal contrasts with faster recovery in boreal regions and persistent vulnerability in tropical ecosystems. Long- and short-term trends indicate widespread resilience decline, especially across the tropics driven by heat, VPD, and soil moisture stress, underscoring the importance of physiological indicators for early detection of ecosystem tipping points.
